Mid-autumn festival~ aka moon festival~

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is a popular East Asean tradition of Chinese origin dating back over 3,000 years to moon worship in China's Shang's dynasty that spread to neighbouring cultures like Japan.It was first called Mid-Autumn festival in the Zhou dynasty.

Personally , i feel that this festival is the prettiest festival among all chinese celebration ~

This is the day where friends and family get together and celebrate it under the moonlight. Remember those days where mummy and daddy bring us to TC and built heaps of sand castle? At this age, our parents dont even want to get messy with us ><~ . Not many of us have chance to celebrate it in kuantan anymore (most of us are scattering around in all parts of the world pursuing our degree...eg miss yw is going to celebrate with ang mo in UK next year XD) . even this year, lots of friends in KL cant come back to celebrate it, next year, even worse i suppose .

Since this might be the last for me in kuantan ( the next 1 maybe 5-10 years later??), of course i've not given up the chance to burn candles in TC although having physic paper 1 tomorrow .( opps..i really should be studying after this) .


It took us a while to figure what should we do with those sands . Some suggested fish , piggies , castle , car and in the end..... we just dig a big hole . = = .... then , an inspiration struck some of our heads , so we end up creating this








It looks kinda pretty ( hurm, mayb i syok -sendiri) . But from nothing to something this bright, its really satisfying to look at it and say it was done by all of us.






FYI, this is wh's butt (btw i dont know who took this , so dont blame me XD)

our candles are dying , and those ppl ( including me ) very lazy to lit them up anymore..... so we plan to put fireworks instead..^_^
















by this time, the 'paw' of ours ( that hole should be a dog's paw) has completely died.><~ so , it times to use up our leftovers fireworks .

Then we go strolling, here are some nice things we found on the beach















we meet kinleong , maishi, hannah , meiyin at there....and that's their cute little creation ( their 1st idea is actually to make a rabbit , blame the wind)

















Its as though this person is displying tanglung for sale ( they have very cute tanglung though)
















our small tiny lantern cant be compared wif others . yw is so proud of her kitty tanglung ( she purposely buy for today XD)

the 1st pic should be a pretty hurm ...what shall i call it, a great wall of china ?? too bad cant be seen clearly.2nd pic is a whole view of TC, pretty dark though. I like that micky mouse lantern, so cute..^^..
